Project management is often an exercise in prioritization. But how do you really prioritize? According to urgency? Or perhaps according to customer expectations? Each method has its pros and cons - and can make big differences in the course of the project. But is there a right or wrong way to do it?
How do you proceed when it comes to prioritizing tasks in complex projects?
-By urgency: Immediate tasks first, no matter what.
-By importance: Important tasks first, even if it takes time.
-Based on availability of resources: Whoever is available determines what gets done.
-According to customer expectations: Customer needs always come first.
